🏟️ Las Arenas at Plaça d'Espanya
A shopping mall built inside a former bullring, with a panoramic rooftop terrace over the city.
Why go
Las Arenas is a shopping centre set inside an early-20th-century former bullring, whose circular brick façade has been preserved. Shops, restaurants and a cinema sit under a dome, and the rooftop terrace offers a great view over Plaça d’Espanya and Montjuïc.
Our tips
- Head up to the circular rooftop (free access from outside, or paid lift) for the view.
- Ideal if it’s raining or very hot.
- Combine it with Montjuïc’s Magic Fountain, right next door.
